Broadway in Columbia County announces their 2024-25 season

Nederlander National Markets, in partnership with the Columbia County Performing Arts Center, has recently announced their 2024-25 Broadway in Columbia County season.

The season will begin with Shrek: The Musical on Oct. 4, 2024. This is based off the DreamWorks animated film about an unlikely hero, an ogre, who journeys with his sidekick to save a headstrong princess.

Hadestown will be on Dec. 2, 2024. This show is based off of two myths: Orpheus and Eurydice and King Hades and Persephone.

Riverdance 30- The New Generation will be on Feb. 14, 2025. This show combines Irish and international dance and introduces new performers who were not born when the show began 30 years ago.

Pretty Woman: The Musical will be on April 24, 2025. This is based off the movie, and it tells a romantic story about two unlikely characters.

The final show of the season will be Chicago: The Musical, which will be on May 14, 2025. This show is about fame, fortune, and jazz. It has won six Tony’s, two Olivier Award, and a Grammy.

Subscriptions are on sale now and can be found at www.TheCenterOfCC.com/Broadway.  A five-show package starts at $250 a seat. Individual tickets will be announced as each show approaches.
