Please consider a piece on the Mayor’s Task Force to remove monuments…specifically show an actual copy of the report back to the mayor including specifics of the vote results…how many voted yea and nay…vote by names if possible. thanks
I agree with Doug Herman’s suggestion.
here is a link to the doc

IN READING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE MAYOR’S TASK FORCE ON CONFEDERATE MONUMENTS , ETC ,
I OBSERVED THAT THE RECOMMENDATIONS TO MOVE THE TWO CONFEDERATE MONUMENTS RECEIVED ONLY FIVE ( 5 ) AFFIRMATIVE VOTES OUT OF THE ELEVEN ( 11 ) MEMBERS OF THE TASK FORCE .
THERE WERE ABSTENTIONS , VOTES AGAINST , AND ONE ABSENTEE AMONG THE REMAINING
SIX (6 ) MEMBERS OF THE TASK FORCE —- BUT , FIVE (5 ) VOTES OUT OF ELEVEN ( 11 ) MEMBERS DOES NOT A MAJORITY MAKE . FIVE ( 5 ) VOTES OUT OF TEN ( 10 ) ATTENDEES DOES NOT A MAJORITY MAKE .
THE RULES OF THE COMMISSION REQUIRE A MINIMUM OF SIX AFFIRMATIVE VOTES FOR ANY ACTION TO BE APPROVED. IF ONLY SIX ( 6 ) MEMBERS OF THE TEN ( 10 ) MEMBER COMMISSION ATTEND A MEETING — THEN ALL SIX ( 6. ) ATTENDEES MUST VOTE IN THE AFFIRMATIVE FOR AN ITEM TO PASS .
THE TASK FORCE HAS SUBMITTED A FINAL REPORT AND STANDS DISSOLVED .
