Many years ago I predicted printed newspapers would die out because of their inherently resource-intensive nature – and that was before the internet came along and made it happen. It’s sad, but not surprising, so see the days of a printed newspaper at Fort Gordon come to an end.
Prognosticator Barry Paschal is right on target…..amazing how many paper newspapers have gone away: Augusta Herald; Metro Spirit; Augusta Courier; and what was the name of Roy Harris’ newspaper…..and now The Signal; and soon The Augusta Chronicle.
