Would somebody please explain to these misguided people they should take their innocent baby killing ideas with them and leave Georgia. We don’t need their kind in the wonderful state of Georgia or for that matter anywhere in America except California.
AMEN! Abortion is and never will be a form of “healthcare”…..
This bill should never have been passed. Instead it should have been on the ballot (as it was in Kansas) and voted on by the citizens of the state, thus reflecting the wishes of the citizens. That would have been the best way to handle the SCOTUS decision once they handed it back to the states. Instead we have a handful of legislator’s who have made a decision based on what?
Democrats are the proud followers of Satan.
That smile expressed the delight of Satan.
abortion within 6 weeks your choice, anything else , no. we need more education, not more abortions, pro abortion is all about the $ like everything else. spend your dollars in educating, and early termination , not later abortions and continuing this cycle of murder. make these day after pills easy access and affordable. Not jacked up like most meds.
“ Harrell said. “It is the government’s job to protect Georgians’ rights to privacy, dignity, and personal belief.”
I’d go along with this if it also included the unborn child’s right to the same protection. But….something tells me it doesn’t. Someone needs to protect the innocent unborn child, and it sure isn’t the aborting-mother.
As a physician who practiced obstetrics for 18 years, I think it is necessary to clarify language used by the honorable Sally Harrell. No one “intentionally causes a miscarriage.” A miscarriage is a spontaneous event when a fetus that is not developing normally dies then passes from the uterus. An abortion is an intentional dismembering of a normally developing fetus that leads to its death. Additionally there is no argument in the medical community if a fetus after 6 weeks is alive, and so there is no debate about the beginning of life as it relates to this bill. One only need to see an ultrasound of a fetus at 6 weeks to know it is undeniably alive.
I would encourage those commenting and those working to promote life to affirm, support and love the life of the pregnant mother in crisis as well as the unborn human life. We should strive to be full not just of truth, but grace and truth. In practical ways, love the mother and the fetus.
