The Gas Company servers (serving heat for homes) are much needed by to Public Service Commission (PSC) to be looked at quickly. They are raising rates much higher now. My gas bill tripled last month compared to a year ago. I will post the PCS telephone number later today, let’s all call them. They seem to get away with this regularly. No rate regulations with them.
Public utilities are governed by politicians. When did you trust a politician to protect your wallet? It ain’t gonna happen folks. Public utility companies should be banned from contributing perks to PSC members and their staffs, such as Football tickets, hunting expeditions, vacations at high dollar resorts, etc., etc. Here is what they do. Public utilities go in with a high percentage rate increase, the PSC members beat their chest, pound the table, froth at the mouth, saying TOO MUCH TOO MUCH, Then they vote to give a smaller rate increase and tell the voters, “we have your back..” Nothing more than a dog and pony show. These rate increase are all predetermined before any public meeting, behind closed doors, smoking their $100.00 cigars and drinking Top Shelf liquor, slapping each other on the back, laughing all the way to the bank. To hell with the customers. My Granddaddy used to say: ‘Don’t worry about the mule, just load up the wagon!’
Public Utilities should come out publicly and tell it like it is. It’s the Biden/Warnock administrations war on fossil fuel. Facts are Facts
