A Hephzibah man pleaded guilty Wednesday, July 13, to wire fraud in submitting a fraudulent application for a small business loan offered during the pandemic to help out small businesses.

    • Anytime the Federal Government tries to provide some kind of “relief”, there are low-life scum-bags that try to cheat the system. Back during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, they found that “boob jobs” were paid with “Federal relief debit cards”. There are disgusting scum-bags all over this Country. The Feds and the IRS DO get some of the cheaters, but I agree with you, there are probably a bunch that squeak by. SAD.
