A man accused of breaking into a home and shooting another was acquitted of charges Thursday, March 10.
The Richmond County Superior Court jury acquitted Raekwon T. Brinson, 25, of home invasion, aggravated assault, burglary, and possession of a firearm in the commission of a crime. Considering the acquittal on those charges, the prosecutor opted not to proceed against Brinson on a final charge of being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.
Brinson was accused of the Nov. 8, 2019, assault on a man in a Centerwest Parkway apartment. He has been in custody since his arrest on those charges. He had prior convictions for burglary in 2014 and entering an automobile with intent to commit a crime in 2015.

Was the crime falsely reported? Then that person should be in trouble. If not, someone did it??
Richmond County is a joke, plea bargaining is the New.
