Entered into rest on Sunday, January 30, 2022, Mr. Wilbur “Bill” N. Ritter, Jr., 88, loving husband of 43 years to Peggy Ritter. Bill was a native of Knoxville, TN but has called Augusta home for the past 33 years. He was a 20-year veteran of the United States Air Force and later retired from the National Weather Service (NOAA) as an electronics technician. Family members, in addition to his wife, include his daughter: Krishna Dorr (Edward); son: Mark Ritter (Wendy); grandchildren: Jordan Johnson (Ashley) and Blandon Johnson; great granddaughter: Haisley Johnson; and many other loving family members. He is preceded in death by his son: Matthew Ritter; parents: Wilbur and Jennie Ritter; and sisters: Betty Ritter and Nancy Dwyer.
