Martinez, GA – Entered into rest on Friday, July 30, 2021, Mrs. Carolyn Turner Givens, 91, loving wife of the late Royal S. Givens. Mrs. Givens was a 1946 graduate of North Augusta High School and retired after 30 years from the VA Hospital. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Augusta and was also a member of the Forest Acres Garden Club. She enjoyed playing cards and Bingo. Mrs. Givens was a loving and devoted wife and mother. Family members include her children, Pam Givens and Roy Givens, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents, Gary and Theresa Turner, brother, Gary E. Turner, M.D., and sister, Anne Campbell. A graveside service will be held Thursday, August 5, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. in Westover Memorial Park with Chaplain Mike Sides officiating.
