Entered into rest on Sunday, June 19, 2022, Mr. Charles Wade Allgood, 67, loving husband of Mrs. Carol Eubanks Allgood. Wade was born in Augusta, GA, he was an active member of Journey Community Church. He worked at DSM Chemical as a pipefitter for over 30 years. Wade enjoyed hunting, fishing, and searching for treasures with his metal detector. He was an avid Atlanta Braves fan who also had a passion for bowling and had bowled two perfect games. Wade loved his family, especially spending time with his grandchildren. Family members in addition to his wife Carol, include his daughter: Jennifer Burnett (Chris); grandchildren: Allison Burnett and Adam Burnett; and sister: Penny Herrington. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles H. Allgood and Margaret Newman Allgood and sister Tina Mock. The funeral service will be held Thursday, June 23, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Bobby Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Jason Hayes, Larry O’Neil, Joel Rodriquez, Jerry Douglas, Carl Willis, and Steve Mock. Honorary pallbearers are Jimmy Hathcox, Ronnie Caudle, Geno Hong. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
