Entered into rest on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, May Dinh Vo, 77, wife of Frank Vo.
May worked for many years at Graniteville Company Sibley Mill (which became Avondale Mills) until its closure in 2006. She was an incredibly intelligent woman and extremely hard worker. She enjoyed crocheting scarfs, blankets, and hats for her children, grandchildren, and many others. May was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and a dedicated military spouse. She was well known to other veterans and families of the Vietnamese Air Force.
Family members, in addition to her husband, include her children: Thao Vo Tran (Thanh), Hieu Vo Luu (Phuoc), Hanh Phuong Vo-Booker (Chris), and Diana May Vo (Nicolas Greenfield); grandchildren: Diana Tran, Matthew Tran, Benjamin Tran (Sara), Phillip Tran, Jessica Luu, Angela Luu, Christopher Luu, Catherine Luu, Elizabeth Luu, Andrew Booker, Christopher Booker, Sydney Booker, William Greenfield, Jacob Greenfield, and Leila Greenfield. She is preceded in death by her parents, older sister, older brother and a grandson: Aaron Booker.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, February 26, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. at the Chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son. Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park.
