Entered into rest on Friday, April 15, 2022, Patricia “Gail” Cannon, 70. Gail was a native of Augusta, attended Butler High School and graduated in 1968. She went on to work as a dental assistant in orthodontics in Augusta and Charleston, SC, where she lived for 42 years. Upon returning to Augusta Gail worked for the Medical College of Georgia until retiring. Everyone who knew Gail were aware of her many talents, painting, photography, crafts, just to name a few. Family members include her daughter: Alice Camille Guyton (Eric); grandchildren: Ethan Samuel Guyton, Ansley Rose Guyton; mother: Mary Barrs; siblings: William “Bennie” Barrs (Betsy), Crystal B. McConnel (Crawford), Mark D. Barrs and Stephanie C. Traub; nieces and nephews: Blair McMichael, J.D. McMichael, Ben Barrs, Kelsie Barrs and Mathew Barrs and many cousins. The memorial service will be held Friday, April 22, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Trinity on the Hill United Methodist Church Sanctuary with Rev. Kevin Giordano officiating.
