Entered into rest on Sunday, January 2, 2022, Virginia Bourne Darlington, 71. Virginia was a Communicant of Grace-St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, a member of the choir for over 55 years, and was active in many areas of parish life. She was also a member of the Watauga Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was employed by the State of Tennessee at the Arlington Developmental Center for 37 years. She was very devoted to her family and friends. She is survived by her sister, Trish Darlington; sister-in-law Diana Newman; niece & Godchild Kai Newman; cousins Sue Darlington Woods and Kitty Woods O’Donnell and many extended family members. She is preceded in death by her parents, Julian Trueheart Darlington and Mary Jeanne Matthews Darlington. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be to Grace-St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 1720 Peabody Avenue, Memphis, TN 38104-6124. A service will be held at Grace-St. Luke’s Episcopal Church at Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. and the family will be receiving friends an hour prior at 10:00 A.M at Grace-St. Luke’s Episcopal Church
