One dead after South Augusta shooting



An Augusta man has died after being found shot at the 3500 block of Tullicks Hill Rd. earlier today.

According to the Coroner’s Office, Ahmed Jabari Hill Sr. was shot at least one time and transported to Augusta University Medical Center where was later pronounced dead.

According to the sheriff’s office there are no suspects, and the investigation is in its early stages. 

Hill was arrested in August of 2021 for cruelty to children in the second degree and simple family violence.
