I am a Methodist, and some 200 plus Churches in The North Georgia Conference of The United Methodist Church is currently suing the NGC for it’s stand on the LGBTQxyz issue as it relates to the ordination of LGBTQ clergy and the ‘marriage’ of same sex couples in the United Methodist Church. Our former Bishop organized and participated in a Gay Pride parade in Atlanta a few months ago, and then on the following Sunday she spoke at one of the largest Methodist’s Churches in Atlanta on the ‘celebration of Gay Pride week’. Our current Bishop has said she does not believe homosexuality is a sin, and she believes homosexuals can be ordained, and serve as Pastors, and should be able to perform same-sex ‘weddings’ in our Churches. Where will it will it all end? On Judgment Day!!!

Is there any item, process, or action that is not called racist today? Climate change is racist. Transgenderism is racist. Being anti-EV is racist. Medical care is racist. Buying fast food is racist. Enforcing laws is racist. Prisons are racist. Elections are racist. Canned corn beef is racist. Buying white chicken eggs is racist. The pervasive and collective expectation is that diversity, inclusiveness, and equity always trump quality, competence, experience, and past performance. People will accept and support an idiotic, inexperienced, cross-dressing, convicted felon over a qualified, experienced person who can and will do the job, regardless of his or her race, sex, or religion. Maybe the Executive Committee selected Wellman as the best qualified candidate to lead the SBC through its current turmoil.
