The three men suspected of breaking into vehicles are now in custody after an early-morning manhunt Saturday, Jan. 8, according to the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office.
According to Columbia County officials, the three, all dressed in black, were allegedly breaking into vehicles in the Ashton Woods subdivision off Columbia Road.

Major Steve Morris confirmed that all of the suspects were in custody at 9:30 a.m.
Entrance into the subdivision was limited due to a heavy law enforcement presence as the search continued.
Deputies created a search perimeter and were closing in on the suspects as of approximately 8:30 a.m.
