The Richmond County Coroner’s Office is investigating two fatalities that took place Thursday just minutes apart.

  1. I’m shocked that someone isn’t killed daily on 56. I drive it almost daily and cars whip in and out of traffic at 80-90 mph. I get over about a mile or 2 before I make a left turn into my work and they will get so close on your bumper you can only see the front of their car. I’ve never seen anyone pulled over from Bobby Jones to Brown Road in over 3 years. Sometimes when I take 56 Loop to Tobacco Road I will see a traffic car but they are usually parked in the shade and not even paying attention to the traffic.
