The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is investigating two shootings that occurred Saturday.
At 9:20 p.m., deputies responded to the 2100 block of B Street in Olmstead Homes in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, deputies learned that a male victim had been shot. He was transported to the hospital by private vehicle where he was pronounced dead, according to an email from Sgt. William McCarty.
At 10:23 p.m., deputies responded to the 2200 block of Old Savannah Road in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, they located a male victim who had been shot at least once and was dead on the scene.
“It is unknown at this time if the incidents are related,” the email said.
No suspect information for either incident is available.
