Entered into rest on Friday, April 8, 2022, Mr. Richard Darrell Wright, 52, loving husband of Michelle Shealy Wright for 27 years.

Richard was a lifelong native of Augusta. He was the proud owner of Johnson & Associates Paint Contractor, a business his grandfather started in 1949. Rick was bigger than life and was unforgettable. He adored his family “especially his 3 girls.” He was their world as well. He loved being at his farm hunting and was an avid hunter. He loved his lake house and going on sunset cruises with his family. He always said he had a small circle but if you were in the circle, you were lucky and loved. Rick will be truly missed.

As we continue life without you, we will always remember what you taught us. We will never forget your beautiful blue eyes and the love behind them. Rest in peace my love.

Family members, in addition to his wife, include his daughters: Shealy Ellis (Tyler) and Emma Jean Wright; aunt: Charmayne Johnson; and several loving cousins.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, April 14, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Dr. Don Prosser officiating.
