Due to a system error, the chargers were briefly listed on the ChargePoint EV app as publicly available and free to use, according to a city Transit Authority announcement. That listing has since been corrected.

Augusta Transit electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, located at its Augusta Bus facility, are reserved exclusively for transit operations and are not open to the public and is limited to only authorized personnel and the authority’s fleet of electric buses, according to the announcement.
