2 new restaurants coming to Wrightsboro Road

Date: July 15, 2023

Two new franchises will claim a spot on Wrightsboro Road this year, including a new Korean BBQ restaurant and a new wings restaurant.

The popular all-you-can-eat KPOT Korean BBQ and Hot Pot restaurant is coming to Richmond Plaza alongside Chuck E. Cheese and JOANN Fabric and Crafts. It’s listed as “coming soon” on its website.

Korean BBQ is a dining experience in which diners grill their own vegetables and thinly sliced meat, typically beef, pork or chicken, at their table. At KPOT, diners can also enjoy a full bar with a “nightlife-like atmosphere.”

The first KPOT location opened in 2018, but it now has many locations across the U.S., including one in Atlanta and eight being added across Georgia this year.

Just down the street from KPOT, the Atlanta-based eatery Touchdown Wings with its 30 sauce offerings will add a location on Wrightsboro Road in October.

Founded in 2017, Touchdown offers wings and chicken tenders, hamburgers, salads, Philly cheesesteaks, fried rice, fish and shrimp.

Touchdown has 21 locations, mostly in Georgia, and seven locations that are being added in 2023, according to its website.
