Four wanted members of the LOE gang were captured Sunday inside a Gordon Highway bar in Augusta, authorities said.
Richmond County authorities were tipped off that wanted suspects were inside Primetime Bar and Grill at 1721 Gordon Highway. Officers went there and arrested them, recovering guns, marijuana and cash during the investigation.
“After arriving at the business, Road Patrol Deputies and Investigators with the Criminal Investigation Division (CID) and Narcotics Division located and arrested the four listed individuals,” a press release says. “The investigation also led to the recovery of three handguns, one of which was reported stolen, approximately 513 grams of marijuana and oxycodone and approximately $6,000 in cash.”

John Anthony Turner, 33, was charged with possession of marijuana w/intent to distribute; possession of oxycodone w/intent to distribute; possession of firearm by convicted felon; unlawful street gang activity; obstruction of law enforcement officer (Misd).
Robert Patterson, 21, was charged with possession of marijuana w/intent to distribute; possession of firearm during the commission of a crime; possession of firearm by convicted felon; unlawful street gang activity; tampering w/evidence.
Kelvin LaBord, 29, was charged with possession of marijuana w/intent to distribute; possession of firearm by convicted felon; theft by receiving (gun); unlawful street gang activity; possession of Firearm During Commission of Crime.
Henri “Rugar” Beach, 20, was charged with possession of marijuana w/intent to distribute; theft by receiving (gun); unlawful street gang activity; possession of firearm by convicted felon; possession of firearm during commission of crime.
According to media reports, the LOE gang started in the 1980s as “The Shirley Avenue Boys” after the street where they lived near Olive Road.
Younger members later changed it to “LOE” to allow the group to expand past Shirley Avenue and include the Jennings Home housing section, Richmond Villas and other areas.
The arrests at Primetime comes one month after someone shot at the business. On Nov. 3, Richmond County Deputies responded to Primetime Bar & Grill around 9 p.m. in reference to a shooting. Deputies learned that unknown subject or subjects fired several shots at the business striking the front door, a press release says. The gunman left the scene in a black vehicle. There were no reported injuries at the time.
