There were 98 crimes tracked by The Augusta Press that were reported to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office during the week of Sept. 28 to Oct. 4.

Violent crimes included two armed robberies, and 35 assaults, only one of which was classified as an aggravated assault and 14 as family violence battery.

Property crimes included seven burglaries, 18 cases of property damage, 10 vehicle break-ins and 16 thefts.
