A homicide was included in the 184 crimes tracked by The Augusta Chronicle that were reported to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office during the week of Oct. 5-11.
Nathaniel Mack, 29, was fatally shot Oct. 10 outside a convenience store at 2822 Peach Orchard Road.
Other violent crimes reported during the week included six armed robberies and a total of 68 assaults, five of which were cases of aggravated assault and 27 were cases of family violence battery.
Property crimes during the week included 14 burglaries, 37 cases of property damage, 14 vehicle break-ins and 24 thefts.
