Beloved a cappella group Straight No Chaser will return to the stage this fall with their highly anticipated “Holiday Road Tour,” making a festive stop at the Columbia County Performing Arts Center (CCPAC) on Oct. 29.
The tour, named in homage to the classic National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation theme song, will showcase the group’s signature blend of vocal talent, humor and holiday favorites.
Tickets go on sale Friday, May 16 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased via Ticketmaster.com or at the Queensborough Box Office at CCPAC.
The tour also marks the upcoming release of Holiday Road, Straight No Chaser’s first full-length holiday album since 2020’s Social Christmasing.
While the full track list has yet to be announced, group member Walter Chase teased a heartfelt and joyful set of new songs designed to get audiences singing and laughing.
“For Straight No Chaser, it absolutely is the most wonderful time of the year,” said Chase. “This year, we poured our hearts into our latest album, Holiday Road. If you come to our show, you can expect to laugh, sing, and be fully prepared to ring in the holidays.”
Before embracing the spirit of the season, the group is wrapping up their high-energy summer tour, “Straight No Chaser Summer: 90s Part 2,” which features nostalgic takes on 90s classics including Lisa Loeb’s “Stay (I Missed You),” the Backstreet Boys’ “Everybody,” and Santana’s “Maria Maria.”
Special guests O-Town will join select dates, and the group will cap the summer with a one-night performance alongside Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons on September 6 at The Greek Theatre, according to a press release from the CCPAC.
Straight No Chaser, founded at Indiana University, has become a staple in the modern a cappella scene. With over 3 million albums sold, more than 1.5 million concert tickets purchased, and 1 billion streams on Pandora alone, the group continues to deliver timeless entertainment to fans of all ages.
