A $5,000 donation from ADP will help students in the Columbia County School District’s (CCSD) Job Skills Training Program prepare for the workplace with new professional uniforms.
The contribution, made to the Columbia County School District Foundation, will provide branded polos and khaki pants for students across all five district high schools who participate in the program, according to a press release from CCSD.
The initiative supports students in the district’s special education program by giving them professional development opportunities and confidence-building experiences in a structured environment.
“The Columbia County Special Services Department is extremely appreciative of the support from ADP and the Columbia County School District Foundation,” said Sharard Pritchett, director of Special Services for the district. “This partnership has assisted in helping our students look sharp as they build upon their professional skills.”
The uniforms will also create a clear visual identity for participating students, helping staff identify them easily while they are at work sites or external events, according to a press release from CCSD.
Approximately 150 students from Greenbrier, Evans, Grovetown, Lakeside and Harlem high schools are enrolled in the program. Because of ADP’s contribution, families will not incur uniform-related costs for the 2025–2026 school year.
“ADP is proud to help support the Special Education Program of Columbia County in conjunction with the Columbia County School District Foundation,” said Dave Brendza, Division Vice President for ADP Augusta. “The opportunity to assist in supporting such a worthy cause aligns with ADP’s core value of Social Responsibility.”
