Date: March 05, 2021

At close of business Thursday, March 4, more than 450 Richmond County residents had cast advance ballots on the SPLOST 8 initiative.

Voting has been on-going since Feb. 22 and has been limited to the Richmond County Municiple Building. Advance voting continues today at the Municipal Building, according to Lynn Baily, executive director of the Richmond County Board of Elections. It will continue Monday, March 8, at another three sites: the Brigham Center, the Robert Howard Center at Diamond Lakes, and the Warren Road Recreation Center.  Hours for voting next week will be from 8:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. daily.

Additionally, 204 voters have applied for and been mailed an absentee ballot. To date, 79 of those have been voted, returned and verified.
