The three weeks of advanced voting in Columbia County ahead of the Nov. 4 election saw over 7,500 ballots cast.
According to Nancy Gay, executive director of the Columbia County Board of Election, 7,733 residents cast their ballots in-person during advanced voting. There were 332 absentee ballots requested and as of Friday, Oct. 31, 239 had been received.
Now if voters want to cast their ballots, they will need to do so on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 4 at their regular voting precinct. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. To find your precinct, visit the My Voter Page or call the Columbia County Board of Elections at 706-868-3355.
Columbia County residents will see several items on their ballots, depending on where they live in the county, and not everyone will see every election.
