Advanced voting for District 125 runoff tentatively scheduled to start March 2

Advanced voting for the House District 125 runoff is tentatively scheduled start Saturday, March 2. 

That Saturday, voting will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m and March 4-8 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the former Euchre Creek Library and building G3 of the Evans Government Center complex. The runoff is being held at the same time as the Presidential Preference Primary, but voters who are eligible to vote will have to vote in the runoff on a separate ballot in a separate area, according to a press release from the Columbia County Board of Elections. 

This means that after casting one ballot, eligible voters will have to then go to another area to cast the second ballot. According to the board of elections, if an eligible voter for the District 125 runoff votes in the PPP before March 2, they will have to come back and vote a in the runoff. 

The following Columbia County precincts will be participating in the District 125 runoff election:

016 – Woodlawn Baptist Church

032 – Greater Augusta Apostolic Church

020 – Harlem Branch Library

033 – Grovetown DPS Station #2

022 – Harlem Senior Center

034 – Grovetown Branch Library

024 – Second Mt. Moriah Baptist Church
