Augusta officials will again convert Berckmans Road to a one-way street during Masters Week.

Each afternoon from 4-8 p.m., Berckmans will run southbound one-way between Gate C-1 and Ingleside Drive.

The operation starts Saturday, when the the final round of the Augusta National Women’s Amateur is played at Augusta National Golf Club, and will continue through April 9.

During the period, residents will have to take Berckmans south from Washington Road to get to their homes. Northbound traffic on Berckmans will be detoured at Ingleside Drive.

Residents will be required to use the same detours as golf patrons. Officers will direct drivers how to get to their homes. Those who live in areas with “no parking” signs will be provided a letter to place in their windshields.

Each morning, city officials will create two northbound lanes on Berckmans at the roundabout but leave one southbound lane open.

Other traffic modifications for Masters Week include the morning closure of the eastbound I-20 exit at Washington Road, with detours to Riverwatch Parkway. There are also lane closures on Riverwatch at Cabela Drive and Topgolf Way.
