Aiken County Sheriff’s Investigators are searching for a robbery suspect

Aiken County investigators are asking for the community’s help to identify a man involved in an April 28 robbery in Warrenville, S.C.

Around 7:06 p.m., April 28, a Black male, walked into the Dollar General at 110 Howlandville Road in Warrenville, where it appeared he was shopping. When he got to the registered to check out, he placed two items on the counter, according to an email from Capt. Eric Abdullah, with the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office.

After the store clerk began a purchase transaction, he demanded money from the register while showing the clerk he was armed. He later left the store through the main doors with the stolen money.
Community assistance is important to any investigation.

The sheriff’s office asks that if anyone has any information that would lead to the identity and whereabouts of this suspect to contact call (803) 648-6811.

The suspect should be considered as armed and dangerous. Also, people can provide information anonymously through Midlands Crime Stoppers. A tip could earn you a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of the person(s) responsible for any crime.
