A 2-year-old girl from Aiken died Saturday evening after falling from a side-by-side utility vehicle (UTV) in a tragic accident in Horry County, S.C.

The victim has been identified as Ellieana Mishoe, according to the Horry County Coroner’s Office.

The incident occurred around 5:15 p.m. on Bay View Drive, approximately 12 miles north of Loris. Authorities said Ellieana was one of four people riding in the UTV, which included another 2-year-old. After falling from the vehicle, the toddler was struck by it.

The S.C. Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the accident, which remains under review.

Woody Mishoe shared an emotional tribute to Ellieana on social media Sunday, describing her as “my world.” In the post, he wrote, “This world is tough and mean. Please hold your babies and family tight. My beautiful PUNKIN left this world yesterday afternoon to go be with Jesus.”

He continued, “Ellieana was one of God’s angels sent from heaven, with the sweetest and most outgoing personality of anyone I have ever known. She loved with her whole heart and lived life to the fullest. The world was her canvas, and she painted it in rainbows every day of her precious life.”
