An Aiken man with outstanding warrants for possessing child porn was finally arrested last week after beating up his girlfriend and kicking her dog, authorities said.

Jamal Justice, 41, of the 9000 block of Gregory Road, was charged on Saturday with 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor as well as one count each of domestic violence and contempt of Family Court.

His girlfriend told authorities that Justice attacked her inside his home Aug. 27, hitting her in the face and pushing her into a coffee table, a sheriff’s report says. She said he threw items at her and threatened to kill her.

“The subject then tried to push the victim down the porch stairs and grabbed her by the neck,” the report says.

As Justice was grabbing her by the neck, he broke her necklace. As she rushed to flee his home with her dog, Justice allegedly kicked her dog in the face, the report says.

This is the same repeat offender with a pending charges for attempted murder and escape that are over two years old. Justice was released on bond just a few months after his arrest on Feb. 16, 2019, but that felony case keeps getting postponed in court.

And while free on bond, officials say he obtained multiple files of child abuse sexual material. The child pornography was first reported a year ago when state officials alerted the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office that a CyperTipline report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) was linked to the Aiken man.

Justice has a long list of other arrests and has benefited from light sentences, including fines after convictions for drug possession and assault and battery. He also had arrests for breach of trust with fraudulent intent and prison contraband.

The exploitation charges will be prosecuted by the Attorney General’s Office.
