Aiken man wanted for breaking into convenience stores

Joshua Powell is wanted for breaking into the Huntsman Shell on Huntsman Drive on Sept. 15 and Murphy’s Gas Station on Richland Ave West on Sept. 24.

The Aiken Department of Public Safety is requesting the community’s assistance in locating Joshua Dylan Powell.

Powell is wanted on two counts of second-degree burglary for a string of break-ins at local conveniences stores that have occurred over the past several months.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Powell is urged to contact the Aiken Department of Public Safety at 803-642-7620 or submit an anonymous tip at CrimeTip City of Aiken, SC Government (cityofaikensc.gov).
