The on-campus operations for Aiken Technical College will close at 3 p.m. today, Wednesday, Aug. 30.
Operations and on-campus classes will resume at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 31, according to a news release from the college.
“Aiken Tech is following the campus closure and reopening schedule in compliance with Aiken County government in response to predicated impacts from Hurricane Idalia. Students who have on-campus classes scheduled after 3 p.m. today (Wednesday) and before 10:30 a.m. on Thursday will follow the guidance of their instructor(s). Online classes will continue as scheduled,” the news release said.
Any students who have questions about classes or class operation status need to contact their instructor. Employees working on campus will work until 3 p.m. or their usual end of work time on Wednesday, and these employees should plan to report back to campus at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday. Employees who are telecommuting either day will continue with their normal schedule.
