An Augusta woman accused of providing a phony alibi for one of the suspects in the January slaying of a little girl, and of conspiring with the same man to smuggle a cell into the jail was granted bond Wednesday.
Kurizima David, 19, was granted a $30,000 bond with house arrest and electronic monitoring on three of the charges she is facing – conspiracy to commit bribery, criminal attempt to commit a felony and violation of the Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act.
Bond has not been set yet in her other case in which she is charged with making a false statement and hindering the apprehension of a criminal. In that indictment, David is accused of first telling Richmond County Sheriff investigators that Henri Beach was with her the night 8-year-old Arbrie Anthony was killed in a Jan. 8 drive-by shooting in Dogwood Terrace, and then telling investigators she didn’t know where Beach was that night.
Beach, 21, is one of several members of the alleged Loyalty Over Everything gang who faces a slew of charges in connection with the drive-by shooting that led to the death of Arbrie and another drive-by shooting in the same public housing complex two days earlier that left two teens with gunshot wounds.

In David’s second case, she is accused of agreeing to meet with alleged LOE leader Kendariss Brown, 32, to pick up $2,000 and give it to a deputy who would then smuggle a cell into the jail for Beach, Assistant District Attorney Kevin Davis said Wednesday during the Richmond County Superior Court bond hearing.
Davis said David has continued to have contact with Beach as late as Oct. 12 when she has arranged three-way phone conversation with Beach who is now in prison after pleading guilty earlier this year to robbery.
Defense attorney Jennifer Cross asked the judge to grant bond for David who is only accused of non-violent offenses and who has no criminal history. David graduated from high school, continued with her education through technical training and held a job until her arrest in March, Cross said.
Judge Jesse Stone set the $30,000 bond. David is not to have contact with any possible member of the LOE street gang nor possess any weapon. She will be subjected to search without a warrant and under pretrial supervision with electronic monitoring. She is to remain at home except for work, education, church, or for medical or legal appointments.
