Two Augusta men are on trial this week for killing three men age 20 or younger in 2019 homicides.
Jamario Delgado Anderson, 25, has been in jail without bond since September 2019 on a 12-count indictment tied to the killing of Jaylyne Cannon, 18.

Cannon was found with multiple gunshot wounds on the 3600 block of Goldfinch Drive, in the Meadowbrook area, on Aug. 31. Anderson was arrested by U.S. Marshals in DeKalb County a few days later.
At a previous hearing, after which he was denied a bond, prosecutors said Anderson was angry because Cannon talked to his ex-girlfriend, who later told police Anderson was violent in their relationship.
The 12-count indictment includes charges of malice murder, felony murder, five counts of possessing a firearm during a felony and four counts of aggravated assault.
In addition to killing Cannon, he’s accused during the same incident of pointing his gun at three others and threatening to kill them.
Anderson is represented by Jordan Price in Richmond County Superior Court Judge Amanda Heath’s court. Augusta Assistant District Attorney Justin Mullis is prosecuting the case.
Day’Shon Antoine Kimble, 25, is on trial this week for murder in the 2019 double homicide of Malik Harvey, 19, and Jahlil Brickhouse, 20.

Kimble was indicted with Ryan Marquise Taylor, 33, for the two deaths, which stemmed from an armed robbery attempt during a marijuana drug deal near Glenwood Apartments in south Augusta.
According to the indictment, Kimble presented a handgun during the drug deal, demanding “valuable items” from Brickhouse. Brickhouse and Taylor both pointed guns back and shot, with Brickhouse and Harvey each getting killed.
Kimble and Taylor were indicted for felony murder in the deaths of Brickhouse and Harvey, as well as felony murder for the deaths taking place during the sale of marijuana.
Kimble is accused of felony murder in causing Brickhouse’s death during an aggravated assault and an armed robbery.
Chief Augusta Assistant District Attorney G. Kevin Davis is prosecuting Kimble in Richmond County Superior Court Judge John Flythe’s court. Peter D. Johnson is representing Kimble.
