The Salvation Army of Augusta will open online Angel Tree applications on Monday, Oct. 6, at 9 a.m., inviting families with children in need to apply early for holiday assistance.
“Angel Tree is one of the most powerful ways our community comes together to make sure every child experiences the joy of Christmas,” said Major Jonathan Raymer, Area Commander for The Salvation Army of Augusta. “Each year, generous neighbors step up to sponsor local ‘angels’ — providing toys, clothing, and essentials that relieve a real burden for parents. We’re grateful for this community’s unwavering support.”
Applications will be accepted exclusively online at saangeltree.org.
Before applying, families should review the Angel Tree Application Guidelines at salvationarmyaugusta.org to confirm eligibility and prepare the required documentation.
The Angel Tree program connects community donors with registered children to ensure that families facing financial hardship can celebrate the holidays with gifts and basic necessities.
More details and the full application guidelines are available at salvationarmyaugusta.org.
