Annual Arts Day Luncheon Coming Up at Julian Smith Casino

The Greater Augusta Arts Council helps Augusta’s art community get more connected with events and programs throughout the year. Interested in how those events are funded?

Find out at the Annual Arts Day Luncheon on Thursday, Nov. 18 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Julian Smith Casino, located at 2200 Broad St., Augusta, Ga.

The council organizes events like the Arts in the Heart of Augusta Festival, the Annual WetPaint Party and Sale, the Aspirations artists workshop series and the annual Augusta Arts Awards dinner.

The speakers will be Elan Buchen from Roswell Art Fund, Denise Brinson from the City of Suwanee and Odie Donald II, Augusta-Richmond County City Administrator.

The lunch and admission fees are $25 for the existing members of the Arts Council or $30 for non-members. $35 will be for attendees who have not registered for the event.
