The application process is now open to apply for Masters tournaments badges and practice round tickets for the 2022 edition of the tournament. The deadline to apply is June 21, 2021.
Practice round tickets for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday will cost $75 and tournament badges for Thursday through Sunday will cost $115 if an applicant is selected through the traditional lottery process.
The ticketing website ANGC reminds readers that the lottery “is not a sweepstakes or “give-away,” but rather, a pre-qualification drawing from those persons wishing to purchase tickets to the Masters® Tournament. No purchase is necessary to submit your request online; however, should you be notified that your name has been selected to purchase tickets, you will be required to make your payment in full.”

The website also states daily tournament tickets will be awarded first. Those not selected for daily tickets, who also applied for practice rounds, will be included then into the selection process for practice round tickets. All applicants will be notified in mid-July via email when the selection process is completed, per the website.
In January 2021, Augusta National Golf Club (ANGC) sent emails out to those that had purchased tickets in 2019 for 2020’s tournament but were not allowed to attend, as spectators were not allowed on the grounds for that edition of the tournament, which was held in November 2020.
The email stated that those ticket holders would be refunded and “ticket holders will also be given the opportunity to purchase the same tickets for the 2022 Masters Tournament. To claim 2022 tickets, you must complete a 2022 ticket application at Masters.com during the application period of June 1-21, 2021. Ticket holders will be notified of their 2022 ticket selection and then must make a payment during the designated payment period.”
Only one person (must be age 21 or older) per address can apply. The ticketing info link can be found here.
