Ashley Brown Shares First Local Football Poll of the Season

Ashley Brown, Sports Columnist

Date: September 15, 2021

This is a big week for the column. I am releasing our first local high school football poll for the 2021 season. Trust me, this was not an easy process. There are so many teams this year that are almost dead-even matchups, so it was tough to try and place each team in what I felt was the proper spot.

However, before I get to the poll, let’s recap the top performances from last week. We had a sensational outing for Silver Bluff sophomore Trae’Von Dunbar. The talented running back sliced his way through the Fox Creek defense for four touchdowns and he headlines our top performers of the week.
