Atlanta Braves World Series Trophy to visit Evans Monday

Following their historic World Series Championship season, the Atlanta Braves
are taking the 2021 World Series Trophy on tour with 151 stops across the
Southeast, commemorating 151 years of Braves baseball.


The World Champions Trophy Tour Presented by Truist will stop at the Evans
Towne Center Park from 3 to 7 p.m., Monday, April 11. Fans are invited to take photos with the
coveted 2021 World Series Trophy.

“We felt the tremendous support of Braves Country throughout the season and particularly in the Postseason, and we are taking this Championship on the road to fans across the Southeast so that they can share in the joy and celebration of this historic victory,” Derek Schiller, President & CEO of the Atlanta Braves, said in a January news release.

According to the Atlanta Braves website, the tour will make additional area stops from 4 to 8 p.m. April 19 at Academy Sports, Aiken, from 5 to 8 p.m. April 21 at the Thomson Depot in Thomson and from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. April 22 at SRP Park during an Augusta GreenJackets game.
