Augusta ENT, an ear, nose and throat medical practice with three locations throughout the CSRA, plans to open a location in Grovetown and has sought to rezone a parcel of land to build it on.

On Dec. 12, 2021, Keith Lynn, the CEO of Augusta ENT, submitted a request for a parcel on 0 Gateway Blvd. to be rezoned from single family residential to professional district.

The purpose of the rezoning would be to build a three-story, 12,400 square foot medical clinic on 2.71 acres along Gateway Boulevard.

The proposed building would house 24 exam rooms, along with “minimal office space for administrative staff,” for a practice location for four doctors, according to the narrative document attached to the rezoning request.

Augusta ENT has a location at 340 N. Belair Road in Evans, which is listed on the rezoning application as the address for Lynn, as well as for Grovetown Medical Holdings, LLC, which is the owner of the property. The practice also has offices in Augusta and Aiken.

Another parcel at the same address was acquired by Augusta University Medical Center, which is in the process of developing a hospital along Gateway Boulevard.
