An Augusta man was fatally shot on Wednesday on Richmond Hill Road West.
Khalil Baker, 23, of the 500 block of Richmond Hill Road West, was shot at least one time on the block where he lives, Coroner Mark Bowen said in a press release. Baker was pronounced dead on the scene at 11:35 a.m. Wednesday.
Baker will have an autopsy done at the GBI Lab, the coroner said.
The sheriff’s office had not released anything on suspects, arrests or a possible motive at the time of this post.
