He allegedly stabbed her once in the chest with a steak knife, but a motive is not clear. The two lived together at the home. A sheriff’s report lists him as 5’7″ and 275 pounds, while the victim was 5’6″ and 155 pounds.

According to a sheriff’s report, responding deputies found the grandson outside the home when they arrived at 12:37 p.m. Monday. Officers had to forcefully enter the home through a rear door. They found the victim lying on the floor unresponsive from a stab wound.
