Timothy Charles Taylor, 36, is wanted for a violent assault Sunday afternoon on his live-in girlfriend that was witnessed by the victim’s young children.

A sheriff’s report describes the bloody violence that unfolded on Jonathan Circle on Sunday afternoon when Taylor got upset with his 33-year-old girlfriend over clothing:

  • He allegedly punched her in the face, giving her a fat lip.
  • Taylor jumped on her, wrapped his hands around her throat and scratched her neck in the process.
  • As she yelled for her children (ages 5 and 6) to put their shoes on to leave, Taylor retrieved a large knife from the back yard and began cutting through her clothing on the floor.
  • Taylor picked up boxed milk and threw it in his girlfriend’s face.
  • The victim put up her hand as Taylor began to stab her, cutting her left hand.
  • Taylor saw her bloody stab wound, grabbed a bottle of bleach and “splashed it in her face,” the report says.

“She began screaming for her children to leave and go call 911 at a neighbor’s house,” the report says. “The children began to beg Taylor to stop hurting their mom.”

The victim convinced her children to run outside to get help. But Tylor soon grabbed her hair from behind and threw her to the ground, punching her in the face.

“Taylor then dragged her outside by her hair and continued to choke her with his hands and punch her in the face,” the report says. “The children ran back and attempted to pull Taylor off of (their mom).”

Taylor then disappeared into the house, and she ran to a neighbor’s house to call 911.

Deputies found the victim with blood dripping down her hand as well as swelling, scratches and bruising on her body. A paramedic came and treated her.

A warrant for aggravated assault was taken out against Taylor. If you have information on his whereabouts, please call Sgt. Daniel Madden or any investigator at 706-821-1020 or 821-1080.
