The Augusta National Golf Club’s credentials committee sent out a press release to Champions Retreat members on March 25 stating that members with tickets to watch the final round of the Augusta National Women’s Amateur, held at Augusta National Golf Club on Saturday, April 3, would no longer be required to present a negative COVID-19 test as they had previously published.

The first two rounds of the tournament are being played on March 31 and April 1 at Champions Retreat, with no patrons allowed. There is then a closed practice on April 2 and the final round will be played Saturday, April 3, according to the tournament website. Champions Retreat members were allotted tickets to attend the final round and were initially told a negative COVID-19 test would be required for entry.

The press release reiterated that valid tournament tickets, approved face coverings (cloth, N95, KN95, or surgical) and credit or debit card for contactless payment were all still being enforced.

A representative from Champions Retreat said that this was an Augusta National decision and declined to comment further.
