Augusta parlors offered more than a massage to undercover cop

Zhi Ye, owner of Ye's Massage and Ye's Massage Too

Date: January 23, 2024

The owner of two massage parlors has been busted for allegedly providing clients with sex services.

Zhi Ye, 63, is the owner of Ye’s Massage and Ye’s Massage Too, both located on Wrightsboro Road. She was charged on Friday night with two counts of keeping a place of prostitution, both misdemeanors.

Richmond County got a tip about the businesses and sent in an undercover officer in November and December to get a massage. At both locations, an employee grabbed the officer’s genitals and asked if he wanted it fast or slow while motioning her hand up and down, authorities said. The officer said he was only there for a massage.

Ye’s Massage is located at 3435 Wrightsboro Road, Augusta

A search warrant was executed on Dec. 7, and an employee claimed they were not doing anything illegal. The employee was not charged, but warrants against the owner say she exercised control over a place offering “seclusion for the practice of prostitution.”

“The accused knowingly permitted the use of such place for the purpose of prostitution,” a warrant says. “Employees of the accused’s business performed sex services in exchange for compensation.”

The alleged sex acts that led to criminal charges, and Ye was formally arrested on Friday. She has been released on bond.
