The Coroner’s Office is investigating a pedestrian death that occurred on Meadowbrook Drive and Bullock Avenue, adding to a long list of such incidents in Richmond County.
Seanque L. Hester 43, of the 3400 block of Sharon Road, Augusta, was struck Monday night by a vehicle on Meadwbrook Drive. He was pronounced dead on the scene at 10:55 p.m., Coroner Mark Bowen said. An autopsy has been scheduled.
The sheriff’s office has not released any information on the driver or possible charges in the death.
The county has recorded 19 pedestrian deaths this year.
