The health inspection world grades a score below 70 as failing, however, no restaurants, pools or hotels received a failing score from inspections on April 14-18.
Worst scores in this week’s health inspection
This week’s lowest health inspection score was an 85 earned by Double Tree Hotel of Augusta’s indoor pool, located at 2651 Perimeter Parkway, in Augusta.
During the inspection, the inspector deducted 15 points for the pool’s emergency phone being inoperable.
“Phone not operable; repair to be able to access local 911 system,” the report stated. “Advise placing 911 phones on separate lines (outside line was off hook; inside worked when outside put on hook.”
Following the Double Tree in Hotel of Augusta, the second lowest score of the week was another 85 given to Scottish Inn Pool, located at 1079 Stevens Creek Road, in Augusta.
Throughout the inspection, the inspector reported a pH balance too high for the pool, which resulted in a 15 point reduction.
